The best way to stand out as a project manager, in any organization is to have the pleasure of working while delivering your projects on time and within budget and the most important part of that is making the project team feel appreciated and happy to work on one of your projects as the next most important thing is adding value to the team You go beyond just annoying people with expiration dates, the better you know the organization, the easier it will be for you to act as a heat shield and snag remover.
The best way to stand out as a project manager
Get an overview of the project – In addition to knowing exactly where the project is, it is important to check the progress of the project against the project’s overall goal(s). I always try to strike a healthy balance between a process-driven approach on the one hand and a product-driven focus on the other. It includes asking questions such as “Are we still on track to deliver what we decided to do?” or “How will this project decision affect the quality of the project’s deliverables?”
Decision Making – Whether it is during the planning phase or while focusing on project implementation, project managers are there to make decisions or guide stakeholders who need to make a decision. Especially since project managers tend to have a good overview of project timings and deliverables (see my previous point), they need to be in a good position to make critical project decisions or prioritize project work.
Gathering and Applying Lessons Learned – I sometimes feel that project managers’ desire to complete a project and then go straight to the next project is a kind of career risk. I’ve learned to set aside some time at the end of each project to think or build a team retroactively. I’m still looking for the most efficient way to capture lessons learned and apply them to later projects, but I definitely think it’s part of the project manager’s role to drive project evaluation.

Organizing skills
One of the most wanted and wanted features. why?
Project managers deal with time/scope/cost and a lot of other factors related to a project. An unorganized individual will not only jeopardize the legitimate but also cause major problems for the entire company. Hence, organizational skills are highly required.
leadership qualities
The project manager must be able to lead a group/team. I personally believe in democratic leadership where a leader helps his followers/team through personal support and followers/team members are free to put forward/provide insights for a particular situation.
Creative problem-solving skills
A very popular skill demanded by industry leaders. The project manager has to deal with a lot of complex situations, sometimes outside the scope of the project. Therefore, the PM must have creative problem-solving skills to help himself out of those situations.
communication skills
Project management required delegating team members and project suppliers. Communicate with stakeholders, project sponsor and leadership. A project manager with poor communication skills will always have trouble managing projects as a large part of project management deals with communicating/delegating information from one source to another.
Knowledge/Experience
A good project manager has domain knowledge. She has experience in the management sector. Each project has its own unique set of characteristics, outputs, and problems. A good project manager has the knowledge and experience of managing multiple projects with different constraints and knows how to tackle these problems.
Decision making skills
A good project manager will have to deal with the situation with multifaceted consequences. Sometimes, managers have to make decisions out of cases and choose the scenario that has the least impact on the project constraints.
There are a lot of other traits that a prime minister should have. However, each individual has a unique experience and work ethic. So, a good project manager is someone who can manage the project without any impact on triple constraints and few or no problems/situations during all phases of the project.
