SINGAPORE (Reuters) – The Saudi National Shipping Company (SE: 4030) (Bahri), the shipping arm of Saudi Aramco, has suspended plans to lease up to 12 LNG carriers as of 2025, after a decision on moving forward with Great project for export in Texas.
The company issued an expression of interest last year to lease up to 12 ships as of 2025 for its first entry into the LNG sector.
Aramco (SE: 2222) declined to comment on the matter.
