The number of people infected with HIV globally continued to rise during the day and yesterday, as the last infections reached 13,248,955 people, including more than 19,000 new cases this morning. Meanwhile, the death toll has increased to 575,841 people globally.
In light of this rise in the number of injured, fears returned again from the rise in injuries in countries that have witnessed a decline in infected cases during the past weeks. Among the most prominent of these countries is Australia, which recorded about 270 new infections, for a total of 10,250 people.
This, Queensland has announced that the areas where the metro is located are among the areas most affected by the virus, and it is scheduled to restrict travel from some of those areas.
