Most Asian stocks ended Wednesday’s session with a slight rise, amid a fluctuation in risk appetite and market confidence with the prevailing uncertainties about trade developments between the United States and China, along with expectations issued by governments and central banks about the impact of the spread of Coved 19 on the global economy.
The Shanghai Composite Index rose by 0.30% to 2,979.55 levels, and the CSI 300 Index increased by 0.42% to 4,138.99 levels. The Australian ASX 200 and the Korean Kospi rose 0.19% and 1.42%. While the Hang Seng index fell 0.17% to 24,864.13 levels.
