SINGAPORE (Reuters) – Qatar Petroleum sold two shipments of Al-Shaheen crude for download in August, at an average premium of $ 1.56 a barrel to the prices offered for Dubai crude through an immediate monthly bid, three commercial sources said on Thursday.
The sources added that the buyers of the two shipments with a volume of 500 thousand barrels are probably Mitsui and Cosmo, which paid immediate bonuses by about $ 1.40 and $ 1.70, respectively.
The two shipments were offered for download during August 2 and 3 and August 29 and 30 of the same month.
The sources added that Qatar Petroleum also set the price of Al Shaheen crude in August for buyers with fixed-term contracts at a premium of $ 1.69 a barrel to the prices offered for Dubai crude.
